Class Information: This course is a hybrid class, we meet twice a week, and on the days when class is not in session, homework assignments will be given. Students are expected to complete the assigned work within the given time frame. Algebra 2 is a course that builds upon the foundation of Algebra 1 and covers advanced topics such as: Simplifying and Evaluating Algebraic Expressions / Working with Complex Numbers / Solving Systems of Equations and Inequalities with multiple variables / Graphing Quadratic Functions and Equations / Understanding Polynomial and Rational Functions / Applying Trigonometric Functions and Identities / Analyzing Exponential and Logarithmic Functions / Applying Matrices and Determinants / Solving Word Problems that use Algebraic Applications. This course aims to develop students' mathematical thinking and problem-solving skills, while also preparing them for higher-level math courses. Cancellation Policy
All classes must be paid in full before attendance. Once classes have started, cancellations and refunds are not permitted. However, requests for transfers may be considered. Transfers will be subject to availability and must be completed within the first two weeks of the course.
