Class Information: This course meets twice a week, and on the days when class is not in session, homework assignments will be given. Students are expected to complete the assigned work within the given time frame. Algebra 1 is a course that covers the following topics: Real Numbers / Solving Linear Equations and Inequalities with one variable / Plotting Graphs of Lines and Inequalities with two variables / Applying Pythagorean Theorem / Solving 2x2 Systems of Equations / Working with Exponents and Polynomials / Employing Factoring Techniques / Simplifying Rational Expressions / Solving Word Problems that use Algebraic Applications. Cancellation Policy
All classes must be paid in full before attendance. Once classes have started, cancellations and refunds are not permitted. However, requests for transfers may be considered. Transfers will be subject to availability and must be completed within the first two weeks of the course.
