Service Description

This class introduces young students to the basics of coding, aiming to boost problem-solving and critical thinking skills while ensuring an enjoyable learning experience. Through the use of Scratch, students will embark on their coding journey, fostering creativity, collaboration, and fun as they create programs. Scratch uses blocks that fit together like puzzle pieces, making coding easier for beginners. By coding, students learn important computer science ideas like if-then rules, repeating actions, and using names to store information, all while making fun projects. Knowing how to use software is really useful nowadays, and Scratch is a great way to start learning to code and understand design too! Computer Workstations provided in-class. THIS IS A FULL YEAR CLASS SPLIT INTO 2 SEMESTERS. EACH SEMESTER REQUIRES A PAYMENT. Please note: On January 15th, classes will be held strictly online via Google Classroom. JKW will be at PCA's 2nd Annual Gather & Grow event from 8 AM-3 PM. Stop by and say hi to us!

Cancellation Policy

All classes must be paid in full before attendance. Once classes have started, cancellations and refunds are not permitted. However, requests for transfers may be considered. Transfers will be subject to availability and must be completed within the first two weeks of the course.
